If you would like to have a family member remembered, please call Gail at the Parish Of-fice at 837-2000. …………………………………………………………………. THE BEREAVEMENT GROUP continues on Wednesday, October 25th starting at 10AM. These meetings are held in the upstairs kitchen at IHM (enter through the back door of the Church). It is our purpose to offer understanding and support to those suffering losses of their loved ones. These meetings are meant to be casual, comfortable and confidential. Please join us. For more info contact Mary at 828 389 4543. ………………………………………………………………….LAUDATO SI: “Hence we should not be surprised to find, in conjunction with ...the cult of unlimited human power, the rise of a relativism which sees everything as irrelevant unless it serves one’s own immediate interests.” Pg. 50 …………………………………………………………...……. SAVE THE DATE—LADIES OF IHM AND ST. WIL-LIAM: the annual Christmas Ornament Exchange is scheduled for Monday, December 4, 2017 at IHM. Mark you calendars! More information to follow soon!

……………………………………………………….………… A TIME FOR HEALING-ANNULMENTS: Bishop Jugis has appointed Don Cattaneo as the Advocate for St. William and IHM. THE TRIBUNAL of the Dioceses of Charlotte pro-cessed over 400 annulments last year of which 98% were ap-proved. In addition, the Diocese of Charlotte’s Tribunal an-nounced the elimination of annulment fees ($75 for informal and $500 for formal annulments) effectively immediately in keeping with Pope Francis suggestion. Anyone who wants information or has a question about annulments, please contact Don at 828-835-3413. ………………………………………………………………….
