Imagining and Becoming" in your text, Foundations and Best Practices in Early Childhood Education, for ideas on shaping your own educational philosophy.

Discussion Questions Refer to the guidelines from the article "Writing

Your Own Educational Philosophy" and the bulleted suggestions from the text on p. 264. Using the insights gained from this course, create your own philosophy of education. As you read your classmates' responses, identify views that you share.

What role will you play in the lives of the young children you serve? How will you support the families of your students? Describe your vision of an ideal early childhood learning environment.
