While it is perfectly acceptable to spend time alone, it is equally important to develop and nurture deep friendships. Friendships add accountability as well as joy to your life. True friends help shoulder sorrows, bear burdens, and express excitement. Life can become so filled with work, errands, and chores that taking time to fellowship with friends may rank low on the list of priorities. God designed you with a longing to be accepted and connected. To put it another way, fellowship with those on the same course in life makes the road easier. There is value in gathering with others of similar beliefs whether you attend a conference, go to a Sunday worship service, or join a neighborhood bible study group. I challenge you to push up the ranking currently assigned to fellowship so that your friends and family can share in your life’s joys and sorrows. Schedule time to meet with a close friend as soon as you can. While you’re at it, write or e-mail an old friend and renew that special friendship. -Jim September 2020 Message from the President of Columbia Cottage Staff Appreciation 2020 Staff Appreciation 2020 News from Columbia Cottage Assisted Living Community The ONLY Licensed Assisted Living in the area VISION Performing with a passion for excellence while doing the right things the right way. Fellowship with Friends

As part of his purpose for your life, God created you to be in fellowship with other people.
