SPONSORS and PARTNERSHIPS SIFF has grown by leaps and bounds over the years, all because of the great support from so many people. In

order to keep up and to grow we need all the help we can get.

Community Sponsor

- Description: Show your support by showcasing, promoting and generally supporting our cause. - Benefits: Mutual promotion – you tell people about us and we will tell people about you via twitter, facebook etc. - Goal: to help us get the word out to more Sims machinima makers since the more machinima makers involved in SIFF

means more recognition for everyone involved. We would love to showcase even more hidden talent. - Expectations : simply share what you can, when you can by retweeting/reposting, sharing our updates, creating videos or

other forms of promotional blasts, or by adding a link or info about SIFF to your site. However big or small, whatever you are comfortable with is appreciated. We will promote you too in a number of ways in return.

Special Partnerships

- Description: collaboration and sharing that benefits the creative talents of our mutual members. - Benefits: many of our members are involved in a number of different community projects, this way we can help them keep

track by making it easier for them to get updates on any interesting opportunities and challenges. - Goal: to explore interesting new ways to combine our efforts in reaching out to creative simmers and to help them get

more recognition for their work. Also, as in the case with our German connection at All About Sims, this partnership allows for translation help so that even more simmers can get involved, even if they are not as fluent in English.

Machinima Partners

- Description: We love Machinima and you make Machinima so this could be a match made in heaven. - Benefits: Mutual support and promotion to increase awareness and visibility in the community for both of us. We will provide

ad space for your channel or projects and will make efforts to promote and share your updates in return. - Goal: To help us get the word out to as many Sims machinima makers as possible since you have a group of followers who

may be machinima makers or machinima lovers who may want to get involved and be showcased. - Expectations might include (but do not have to include all of these):

Give however much or little you would enjoy or can afford time for Retweet/repost our updates, create video or other forms of promotional blasts to spread the word or

share your support. Get involved in our Machinima School project as a guest instructor by creating a school lesson or article

for our Simatography magazine. We will provide you with the graphic elements and formatting info needed.

Be a supporter of the machinima makers during SIFF by dropping by and adding encouraging comments on their submitted films

STAFF and SUPPORT

SIFF and Simatography Staff

- Benefits: Be a proud member of this great team and you will be appreciated by us forever and ever. - Goal: We need more staff to help spread out the workload to be more manageable for everyone and to keep things running

smoothly so that we can provide better support to our members and fans. - Expectations:

o Be willing to keep regular communication with the rest of the SIFF team through our Facebook staff page, Skype and Dropbox (all of these are a must as it is imperative to keep the flow of communication clear)

o Graphic arts skills are needed because at some point everyone will need to be involved in this in some capacity. If you are a great photographer this helps too as we often need good photos for our projects, then one of the graphic artists on the team can partner with you on projects.

o You must have an invested interest in the philosophy of SIFF and Simatography which is to support and encourage our members as well as to want to help us build and grow as a community and as the go-to place for Sims machinima makers and simtographers

o We need people who are self-directed. This means that you can come up with your own ideas on what you would like to contribute to meet the goals of SIFF and Simatography, or that you will be willing to look at the list of proposed assignments and take on what you feel that you can.

o Your level of contribution is up to you. We don’t expect more than you can give, but we do expect that you keep us updated on what you are willing to do and to only accept assignments that you can follow through on.

Moderators

We need moderators who can help us reliably and consistently keep up with the flow of updates in a variety of places including:

- Twitter – Minraed - Tumblr – Jorgha and Peacemaker - The Sims official forums – vacant - Facebook – Minraed, Jorgha, Peacemaker - YouTube – Minraed - Simatography website forums – everyone, we can really use more

Expectations: To be present and involved. To support other members, help answer questions, keep the forums flowing, and really just about anything you can to help us provide better service.

SIFF Supporters

Supporters are those who are not certain that they can commit to being full staff or moderators, but who are willing to contribute in a variety of ways to supporting the cause. Some ideas include …

o SIFF entertainment features, SIFF and Simatography CC creation etc. o Random promotions to help us spread the word o Be a “special guests” and contribute articles, ads or occasional contributions of any kind o Be a REPORTER or official PAPARAZZI and help us report on SIFF happenings o Join our Facebook group and keep connected with other supporters to share ideas
