STANDARD 100by OEKO-TEX®Your mark for effect- ive protection from harmful substances in textiles.

SAFE

A label you can rely on.We ask a lot from our clothing and textile products. Our clothing should be fashionable, functional

and colourful. At the same time, it should be soft and pleasant when in use, not scratchy. Athletic apparel should absorb moisture, drawing it away from the skin quickly.

We take these features, and many more, for granted today. But so much of what consumers demand from their clothing and textiles would not be possible without the use of chemicals. But it’s crucial that critical levels of harmful chemicals are not used in our products.

Hence, the monitoring of clothing and textile products is important. So, in 1992,the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® was introduced and continuously further developed to help

consumers feel confident. Only products which have been checked successfully on the basis of the comprehensive and strict human ecological OEKO-TEX® criteria catalogue are allowed to be

marked with the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® label.

INDEPENDENT

Give it a try. Clothing and home textiles certified with the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® give

consumers around the world a high level of safety from harmful levels of chemical substances. The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® criteria catalogue comprises

several hundred regulated harmful substances.

All elements of a textile product must meet the required OEKO-TEX® test criteria. This means everything from fabric to zippers, sewing yarn, coatings, buttons, etc.

The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® test criteria are uniform across the globe and are updated at least once every year.

Exclusively independent testing institutes from the OEKO-TEX® Association are responsible for all testing and, ultimately, for issuing STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certifications.

Simply type in the number you find on the label to see whether the certification is valid: www.oeko-tex.com/validity.
