Introduction
Information Services has developed a new standard clinical desktop (SCD) image which will replace Clinical Virtual Desktop (CVD) in all inpatient areas as well as in-room devices in the Emergency Department. These SCD devices are clearly labeled, along with intuitive instructions attached to each workstation. Label on SCD Monitor
If any technical issues arise please contact the Service Desk at (215) 662-7474. Comments and suggestions can be given to your Clinical Informatics Council member. Thank you

Chapter 4 - INACTIVITY
After 3 minutes of inactivity, the screen will fade to black and will display the name of the current user who is logged into the PC. If you move the mouse, the desktop reappears where you left it. If you are another user, and you tap them out, you could potentially cause them to lose their unsaved documentation.
o TIP: Ask the user whose name is displayed on the screen if they have
any unsaved data before tapping them out.
A PC that is left inactive for 30 minutes total will automatically logout the last logged-in user from that device. Any unsaved documentation will be lost.
The MAK application inactivity timeout is 60 minutes.
