Not to Use substances with Ozone Depleting Potential (ODP)
Not to use substances with high Global Warming Potential (GWP)
Not to use materials where substances with ODP and high GWP has been used in the manufacturing process
Not to use materials which emit volatile substances such as solvents.
Labeling is essential to ensure that the equipment conforms to the set standards regarding safety and energy efficiency
Facilities for testing equipment is essential for a successful labeling program
At present such facilities for AC & Ref equipment is not available
SEA has embarked on a program to set up a labeling program for Refrigerators as an initial step
