2014 SEASON• The Cardinal played in its 32nd overall NCAA tournament and 10th Super Regional in 2014. • Stanford was 14-17 on April 18, before making a playoff push at the end of the season.

• Stanford’s freshmen pitchers went 3-0 with a 0.82 ERA in the Bloomington Regional. • Five newcomers combined for 22 IP, 12 H, 4 R, 2 ER, 9 BB, 20 K. • Stanford hit .303 in the Bloomington Regional, while holding opponents to .240. • The Cardinal slugged .528 with 19 extra-base hits compared to a .323 mark and 10 extra-base hits for opponents.

• Nine different Cardinal players hit home runs during the Bloomington Regional. • The only hitter that had an at-bat and did not homer was Brett Michael Doran, who was second in the nation in sac bunts (23).
