Parent Teacher Meeting The Parent Teachers Meeting for classes Nursery to XII was held on 01-10-2019 to discuss about students’ performance in Half Yearly/ Term I Examination. The Parents were intimated about the meeting well in advance through respective class teachers. Outcomes of Parent Teachers Meeting: • More than 350 parents attended the meeting. • One to One Interaction between Parents and Class Teachers, Faculty Handling Classes & Mentors. • Discussion was focused on students’ specific strengths and weakness in individual subjects. • Consolidated class wise Term- I examination marks were shown to parents. • Parents Feedback Hardcopy (Students Performance Report) was taken for reference. Parents expressed their gratitude regarding the care taken by the School for the growth of their wards.

Wild Wisdom Quiz
The Wild Wisdom Quiz provides an opportunity and platform to bring ourselves closer to nature and spark a passion in them for nature conservation.
It is a great pleasure for CMCL Vidya Bharati School that four students were selected from Junior and Middle Level to compete in the Regional Level at Royal Global University in Guwahati on 1st October, 2019. Those students were selected from the school level competition conducted on 21st of August, 2019 based on merit. Top four participants of CMCL Vidya Bharati School are Ayush Kumar Mishra (Class-V) and Bappa Rabidas (Class-V) from Junior Level, Abu Ahmed Bin (Class-VI) and Debraj Nath (Class-VII) from Middle Level. Students were awarded certificate by Shri Pradeep Purohit, Chairman, CMCL Vidya Bharati School. Mr. Bijan Debnath, Science Teacher of the school was awarded a certificate of recognition.

Student Solar Ambassador
Workshop
A culmination event of GGSY, the Student Solar Ambassador Workshop was organized on 2nd October 2019, aimed to sensitize the young (future) generations who will be bearing the maximum burden of climate change. Therefore, a workshop to train students and sensitize them towards solar energy was organized on 2nd October 2019, marking the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, who epitomized the cause of non-violence (principles). In this prestigious Mega Global Event CMCL VIDYA BHARATI SCHOOL also participated with 52 students who are trained to assemble own SoUL (Solar Urja Lamp). In this work shop students along with two master trainers Rapelly Nagaraju & Rashmi Kumari Pandey took an oath on Non Violence and Environment. Trainers described briefly about climate change and alternative source of energy i.e. Solar Energy and students assembled 25 SoUL (Solar Urja Lamp).

Mangahigh Diwali Challenge
"MANGAHIGH" is a globally reputed online platform for learning mathematics by play way method. The organisation conducted "Diwali Mathematics Challenge-2019" globally from 14th to 20th October 2019. Our "CMCL VIDYA BHARATI SCHOOL" also participated in this competition. Total 263 students from classes 3 to 10 had participated in this competition. Our students participated in this competition and the school secured 5th position in the leaderboard with 11539 points.13 students scored more than 300 points so they will be awarded with medals, 12 students scored more than 150 points, they will get certificates. Our teachers Md. Julfikar Ahmed Chowdhury, Rapelly Nagaraju, & Mantun Kumar Singh supported the students to score maximum points during the competition.

Early Child Development
Forum Two teachers from CMCL Vidya Bharati School, Mrs. Ruma Chakroborty & Mrs. Rumana Akhtar Laskar, along with the Principal, Mr. Dilip Kumar and Manager, Mrs. Neetu Bansal attended the ECDF (Early Child Development Forum) at NEDFi (North East Development Finance Corporation Ltd.) House Auditorium, Guwahati which is North India’s Early Childhood Education Conference and Pinnacle Education Awards 2019, organised by the Early Childhood Development Forum, with the theme “The future is today, creating next generation doers”. The Education Minister of Assam Siddhartha Bhattacharya and Dr. Dyaneshwar Manohar Mulay Member at the Human Rights Commission where the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour for the event. Some of the topic of the conference included : The importance of quality education in the Early Childhood Years, Mental Health in Early Years, Socio-Emotional Learning, Moral Education, Bullying at School, to name a few.

DELL Policy Hack Presentation Dell Technologies hosted the 3rd Policy Hack for teachers in Guwahati on Friday (17-10-2019), as part of its four-city Policy Hack series. Dell has partnered with UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP) to provide a forum for teachers, school and education experts, to present real life solutions for the advancement of the education system in India. Policy Hack is a global forum of Public policy discussions, where teachers take the center-stage in discussing how their profession has evolved in wake of the paradigm shift technology has created.
Our school has been selected in Top 10 school to share their ideas in the platform. Mr. Dilip Kumar (Principal), Mr. Julfikar Ahmed Chowdhury (PGT Computer Science), Mr. Mantun Kumar Singh (PGT Accountancy), and Mr. Rapelly Nagaraju (PGT Chemistry) had shared their ideas on the topic “Computer on Wheels” from.

(BEE) Painting Competition
North Western Electric Power Corporation limited had organized a Painting Competition on Energy Conservation in two different categories. Near about 50 students had participated enthusiastically and came up with their innovative thoughts in the form of Painting.

Pre- Primary Activities
(Nursery to Class II)
Navaratri was celebrated with great enthusiasm and excitement by the Nursery children on 8th October, 2019 at Star Club. The dress code of the event brought out the vibrancy of colour and traditional attires. The actual show was the dance by children on Dandiya beats and Garba Steps. In the sequence Diwali festival was also celebrated by the pre-primary section of CMCL Vidya Bharati School. The children came to school in colourful dress ready to enjoy the schedule plan for the day. The children were excited as well as happy to see their decorated classroom. Various activities took place on that very day such as colouring, Rangoli making, Diwali dance, lighting diyas inside the classroom. Children enjoyed the dish of rice pudding (Kheer) provided by the school authority. Other activities of the month were birthday celebration, Musical chair game, Activity on Data Handling, Craft work on manner words, Measurement of length by foot span and newspaper art. The teachers of the primary section showcased our culture to the toddlers in a very interesting way.

National Unity Day Celebration Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel leaves behind a rich legacy of Unity and Integrity. With the hope that the youth of the country shall imbibe the same sense of National Pride and Unity as demonstrated by Sardar Patel, students of CMCL Vidya Bharati School celebrated Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel’s 144th Birth Anniversary with full vigor and zeal. During the morning assembly the students heard a motivating speech by Anukriti Yadav of grade 3 followed by taking Rashtriya Ekta Pledge. During the school hours, Essay Writing Competition was held on the topic Sardar Vallabh bhai Patel, in which 75 students had participated.

Mitsubishi Asian Children
Enikki Festa Mitsubishi Asian Children Enikki Festa Painting along with Essay writing competition was organized by CMCL Vidya Bharati School in the month of October 2019 in collaboration with Mitsubishi Public Affairs Committee, Asian Pacific Federation of UNESCO. A number of students in the age group of 6 to 12 years had showcased their talents in different subjects according to the criteria.
