my journey to Australia was pretty epic.

Airlie Beach

• Day1– Airlie is the gateway to the Whitsunday's

– an archipelago of 74 tropical islands. Our resort was located on the main strip and featured a swimming pool, bar and night club

day2

• We attended a half Day of Whitsunday Sailing & Accommodation in Airlie Beach

- We spent half a day on a maxi sailing yacht where we sailed around the Whitsunday Islands and enjoyed the great snorkeling and pristine beaches.Then we relaxed at the resort.

day3

• Overnight Live-aboard Dive Vessel & Accommodation Airlie Beach

-we spent a day and night on a specialist dive vessel. At night we slept aboard one of the vessels, while during the day we explored the tropical reefs and beaches.

day4

• We relaxed by the pool and enjoyed our day at the resort.

Fraser Island “Hervey Bay”

•Day5– Today we continued to travel south to Hervey

Bay. This coastal village is famous both as the whale watching hub of Australia plus as the gateway to Fraser Island.

• Day Lodge Safari & Accommodation Hervey Bay

-We went on a guided four wheel drive adventure which overnights in the Wilderness Lodge. These lakes where Included in our touring; Lake Mackenzie, Basin Lake, Pile Valley, Maheno Shipwreck, Coloured Sands & Champagne Pools.

• We spent this day at Coloured Sands and in the Champagne Pools.

• Today we enjoyed touring the beauty of Pile Valley.

Byron Bay Surf Camp

• Day 9

-Departing Hervey Bay we traveled south through the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane and on to Byron Bay, Australia's most easterly point and surfing capital. Here we learned to surf by day and spend our evenings at our leisure.

• They told us to go for a latte in a street café or just chill-out in this hippie town & backpacker mecca. So that’s what we did.

• On the last day, we took the overnight coach to Sydney.

-Our package is complete upon arrival into Sydney this morning, I’m going to miss Australia but I’m also glad to go home.
