It gives me great pleasure to introduce State Level Science Talent Search Examination-
2013. This year is our 15th year in assessment. In these 14 years we have progressed step-
by step in inculcating revolutionary learning practice through quality, unbiased and
researched assessments. We acknowledge your contribution in making the younger
generation strong in fundamentals and admire you for that.
UNIFIED COUNCIL is working towards helping schools, teachers, students and parents
get an exact picture of the level of scholastic skills of the students from class 3 to class 10 in
subjects of Maths and Science. This is being achieved through our State Level Science
Talent Search Examination (SLSTSE), on the basis of extensive curriculum research,
student achievement level analysis and definition of skill levels for children across state
board.
This is the only State Level Talent Examination, which stands by its name. SLSTSE is
spread all over the state, facilitating the participation of all schools, even in the most remote
corner. We have made this possible. With our vast network, and the continuous support of
various academicians. Any school situated in the state can take part in this exam, giving its
students an opportunity to prepare themselves to take on the world when they enter the
competitive mainstream.
Looking back, the academic year 2011-12 has brought us closer to schools working to push
the boundaries of student achievement. 5,00,000 students participated in all the exams
conducted by Unified Council. This shows the popularity of our examination. SLSTSE, our
offering to schools has been appreciated for its utility as a tool for catalyzing improvement.
We also conducted our National Level Exam (NSTSE) in Russia, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia,
Bahrain, UAE, Yemen, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Nepal, Iran, Libiya and Tanzania.
SLSTSE, a curriculum-based examination, will prove very useful to students who wish to
assess their strengths and weaknesses in the subjects of Maths and Science. As an integral
part of the academia, this programme will have a far-reaching effect on the competitive
spirit of young minds.

The focus on fundamentals is so important that when the child finishes studies/graduates he/she will have to face the competitive world aimed with these fundamentals. Even while opting for higher studies the student has to go through a complete scan of what he/she knows and how much. Exams like IIT-JEE, AIIMS,AIEEE, EAMCET, AFMC, CAT, SAT, GRE, GMAT etc. are so designed to test the fundamental strength of a student. Hence the need of the hour is building the fundamental base as strong as possible.
This exactly is the philosophy behind this State Level Science Talent Search Examination. Hence we call it the Fundamental Revolution.
Now we are announcing the State Level Science Talent Search Examination (SLSTSE-2013) for the students of classes 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 10 in subjects Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry & Biology
The Council makes use of ultra modern equipment such as Optical Mark recognition (OMR) equipment to evaluate the answer papers for proficiently assessing students’ performance. Complete examination procedure is computerised. It is geared with renowned academicians as well as an inspired administrative work force that believes in leaving no stone unturned to render its service to the student’s community.

SLSTSE will be based on Andhra Pradesh State syllabus.
Only 90% of the syllabus is considered for examination question papers.

Special Complements:
The teacher in-charge of a school which sponsors a minimum of 200 students will
receive a Wrist Watch as a complimentary gift.
Note : Venue of the SLSTSE will be respective school only. We require a minimum of 75 students to allot the self test centre. The Teacher In-charge of this examination has to conduct the SLSTSE according to the schedule.
You are allowed to retain Rs. 10 per student to meet the examination expenditure, which includes bank charges, postal charges, invigilation and remuneration for the Teacher In-Charge.
How to apply
1. Please send a single Demand Draft for the exam fee of all the students appearing for
the SLSTSE from your school.
2. D.D. Should be drawn in favour of ‘UNIFIED COUNCIL’, payable at Hyderabad.
3. Frame the list of students in the given format (preferably typed) and send it to our
address along with D.D. by Courier Service / Speed Post / Registered Post.

blue print, highly experienced educational specialists with significant teaching experience
are developing assessment tests. The analysis of the performance is done at individual
student level, class level and school level and State level.
We provide General School Report (GSR) for all the participating schools absolutely FREE.
The GSR provides the response of all the students to each question on the percentage basis
for each option, Tough Questions, Performance of all the students in the graphical format.

NSTSE, a curriculum-based examination, is a very
useful one to students who wish to assess their
strengths and weaknesses in the subjects of

effect on the competitive spirit of young minds. NSTSE question papers are scientifically
designed to test concepts underlying the curriculum in an interesting manner. Based on the
development of a skill blueprint, highly experienced educational specialists develop these
assessment tests. The analysis of the performance is done at the individual student , class,
school and country levels.
We are now announcing the National Level Science Talent Search Examination - 2013 (NSTSE
