Completing this on-line application is an important first step in the hiring process.

It is critical that applicants follow the specific requests found in each question.

Resume’ or CV information will not be referenced

to substantiate a response on an application.

• Education – list specific dates of attendance

and location of the granting institution.

•Work experience – list experiences and dates,

if overlapping positions. To emphasize

progressive responsibilities/roles, list changes or

promotions with agencies as separate positions.

Application questions often appear in pairs. The initial question will ask for the extent of relevant experience in ranges

of time or a corresponding metric.

•What/How – A description of how the response meets the request of the question;

•Where – Specific employer(s);

•When – The years and months the activity/experience occurred.

Response: “In my role as accounting supervisor (2010 – 2014, Steve’s CPAs & Tax Preparation) I supervised 3 accountants and 2 support staff members in daily operations including account adjustments and balances. In my role with E.F. Hutton (2015 – 2018) I was the accounting manager overseeing 12 CPAs and 3 tax specialists processing tax returns for submission to Federal and State governments.”

Each application question must be answered in detail. Responses may seem redundant; please answer each question thoroughly.
