LOCATION
The facility is located in a Tier 1 Job Tax Credit zone, which means
companies may be eligible for job tax credits of up to $4,000 per
new employee hired for up to 5 years.
For example, suppose a processor creates 250 jobs at the facility. The
company would be eligible for $5,000,000 over a 5 year period. This is
calculated as follows:
250 jobs x $4,000 credit/job = $1,000,000/year x 5 years =
$5,000,000 (*applicable to payroll withholding).
