Station 1 Chin Up Bar
Not more than one pupil at any one time at this station
(refer to picture for proper usage)
Standing under the bar, jump vertically to reach bar.
For strengthening of arms, hang for a period of time or carry out Pull–ups base
on personal ability.
Dismount from bar by releasing hands from bar.
Outcomes:
• Develops upper body muscular
strength especially arms and
shoulders
• Develops abdominal strength
Station 2: Lily Pods
Not more than 2 pupils at any one time if in motion from one end to another.
(refer to picture for proper usage)
Dismount from the pod to an approved surface below when your turn is
completed.
For your own safety, refrain from climbing and siting on the top most horizontal portion of the apparatus.
Outcomes: • Promotes sense of balance and safe risk taking. • Hand & eye co-ordination during traverse from one end to the other. • Develops lower and upper muscular strength.
Station 3: Turning Something
One child at this station only at any one time.

Grasp the bars with both hands. Use overhand, reverse, or mixed grip. (Refer to picture for proper usage)
Check for space clearance before dismounting.
Outcomes: • Develops upper body muscular strength especially to the hands, arms, shoulders and stomach.
Station 4: Spider Web
Not more than 2 pupils at any one time if in motion from one end to another
(horizontal). (Refer to picture for proper usage)
It is a climbing station. Step and hold on to the ropes to climb or move. (Refer to picture for proper usage)
For your safety, refrain from siting or hanging upside down.
Outcomes: • Promotes sense of balance and co-ordination. • Develops lower and upper muscular strength.
Station 5: Balance Beam
Up to 3 pupils on each long bar
Balance walk across on beam(Refer to picture for
proper usage)
Balancing blind folded (with spotter)
Jumps with one or two legs over beam
Under teacher supervision, apparatus can be used for
team building games
Outcomes: • Promotes lower muscular strength and co-ordination • Develops abdominal strength
Station 6: Rock Wall
1 pupil per side or face of station at any one time. (Refer to pictures for
full proper usage of each wall)
At least 3 parts of the body in contact with the wall grips at any one
time. For example, 2 hands and 1 foot. (Refer to pictures for full proper
usage of each wall)
For your safety, refrain from sitting at the top of the rock wall. (Refer to
pictures for full proper usage of each wall)
Check for clearance before dismounting from wall.
Outcomes: • Developing full body muscular strength • Develops endurance • Develops co-ordination
Station 7: Carousel
Not more than 3 pupils on the Carousel.
For your safety, climb onto and dismount the Carousel only when
it is stationery.
Hold on to ropes or be seated when Carousel is in motion. (Refer
to picture for proper usage)
Respect the climbers decision to call for a stop.
Outcomes: • Develops a sense of balance and hand eye co-ordination while in motion.
This playground is for use during lessons and recess time only.
• Take turns while using the equipment.
• Use equipment properly as taught during PE lesson.
• Leave backpacks, and bags away from the equipment and the area
where you are playing so that no one trips over them and falls.
• Station equipment should never be used if it is wet or slippery.
• During the hot days if the equipment feels hot to the touch, it is
probably not safe or fun to play on.
• Ball games are not allowed at the station.
• Look out for one another. Older students should be especially careful
when younger children are around.
