Projects in 2012  The project of the Korean Economic Cooperation Development Fund (EDCF) “Promotion of

specialized secondary and vocational education.” Facilities for educational and laboratory equipment in 150 VCs, upgrading teachers professional skills in abroad, a loan of $27 million.

  The project of the Islamic Development Bank. Construction and machines 5 VCs in different regions of the country. “Building and equipment of 5 VCs with the Asian Development Bank participation” project, a loan of $10.5 million.Building and equipment of 5 VCs in the different regions of the Republic.

  “Promotion of professional education in construction and housing field” project, German Development Bank (GDB) loan on €9 million.Educational and laboratory equipment in 33 VCs.

“Promotion of vocational training in construction and housing field”, German Technical Cooperation Society grant on €2 million. Upgrading teachers professional skills in abroad, publishing textbooks.

“Professional education development in water management field cooperation”, the Swiss Confederation grant on $ 3.4 million. Educational and laboratory equipment in 11 VCs, educational standards, plans and programs improvement, publishing textbooks , upgrading teachers professional skills in abroad.

  “Cooperation with enterprises in the area of employees training” British Council project, grant on €1 million. Special disciplines for teachers and practical training of masters.

The main results achieved with the participation of international financial

institutes.1. More than 432 ALs and VCs have been equipped with training and

laboratory equipment for general educational subjects. 2. Special vocational studies auditoriums and workshops in 208 VCs have been equipped with training and laboratory equipment.3. Improved and developed: more than 20 branches industry standards; more than 50 special disciplines educational programs.4. 5 new professions have been entered. 5. More than 40 textbooks have been established and published.6. More than 650 multiplier coaches have been trained.7. Labor market analysis mechanism has been created.8. Professional and practical exams mechanism in VCs has been

implemented.

The priority tasks aimed at further development of SSVE

• A full enrollment of graduates of comprehensive schools with professional education beginning with the 2012-2013 academic year;

• Active participation of employer enterprises in working out educational and regulatory documents (educational plans and programs, industry standards), expansion of well-established practice of attaching particular enterprises and organizations to profile colleges, creation of a permanent “Enterprise-College” bond with an aim of manufacturing practice and further employment of graduates;

• Further upgrading of pedagogical staff qualifications, professional education quality, teachers’ up-to-date level training;

• Further humanization of education - students’ aesthetically rich world, high spirituality, cultural, critical and creative thinking formation, developing their abilities and talents;

• Further expansion of up-to-date information technologies applications in educational process;

• Further strengthening of material, technical and informational base in educational institutes, supporting the educational process with high-quality literature, educational-methodical complex and up-to-date pedagogical technologies, educational and laboratory equipment. 19
