How does this help to stay in the full life ?

a) It grows our relationship with God together. (v19a) “They went out from us but they did not really belong to us.”

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Proverbs 27:17As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

b) It helps us to care and share from our hearts. (v19b) “For if they had belong to us; they would have remained with us ...”

“Fellowship” - Greek word - “koinonia” : translated as participation, sharing, partnership, communion.

2. Stay in the Truth v20-25“See that what you have heard from the beginningremains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. And this is what he promised us—even eternal life.”
