Bible Story We’re taking a break from the story of David to go through the story of Easter together. This week we’re looking at the story of the Last Supper. You can find it in your Bible in Luke 22:7-30 You can also watch it online here . Something to talk about Do you recognise some of the things Jesus says in this story? What do we do at church that involves bread & wine? Why do you think it’s important for us to remember Jesus and what he did for us? Can you think of other times in the Bible when things have happened just as Jesus says they would? Does that still happen now? Something to do This week we’ll be making Last Supper scenes! The template is at the end of this sheet! You will need: colouring pens or pencils, scissors and glue. If you have a go at this craft we’d love to see some pictures! STC Church at Home When the church started, it started in people’s homes. People learnt about God and how to follow Jesus in their front room! We can do the same today! We hope that in this season you enjoy engaging with God as a family in your home.

Bible Story We’re taking a break from the story of David to go through the story of Easter together. This week we’re looking at the story of the Last Supper. You can find it

in your Bible in Luke 22:7-30

Something to talk about

Do you recognise some of the things Jesus says in this story? What do we do at church that involves bread &

wine? Why do you think it’s important for us to remember Jesus and what he did

for us? Can you think of other times in the Bible when things have happened

just as Jesus says they would? Does that still happen now?

Something to do This week we’ll be making Last Supper scenes! The template is at the end of

this sheet! You will need: colouring pens or

pencils, scissors and glue.

If you have a go at this craft we’d love to see some pictures!

STC Church at Home When the church started, it started in people’s homes. People learnt about God and

how to follow Jesus in their front room! We can do the same today! We hope that in this season you enjoy engaging with God as a family in your home.

This week’s memory verse Then he took some bread and thanked God for it. He broke off

some pieces, gave them to the apostles and said, “This bread is my body that I am giving for you. Eat this to remember me.”

Luke 22:19 (ERV) Try to learn this verse together. Maybe you could come up with

some actions to help you remember it?

A prayer to say together

Dear God,

Thank you for the story of the Last Supper. Please help us to remember you this week, and give us opportunities to remind others that they are loved.

Amen.

Family Activities The church traditionally uses Holy Week as a time to take some

space and to connect with God. Why not put on a quiet song (we recommend the acoustic version of O Come to the Altar by

Elevation Worship) and spend a few minutes in stillness. Do you think God is saying anything to you?

Find 5 things (each!) from around the house that remind you of someone—photos of family, a receipt from the food order, anything! Take it in turns to pray for these people, that God

would keep them safe and that they would know He loves them.
