At Shaftec, our range of remanufactured Right Hand Drive Steering Racks is already the widest range available in the UK. Along with our recently launched range of Left Hand Drive racks, we will be able to offer one of the widest ranges available in Europe.

The Shaftec ranges of top quality remanufactured Steering Racks and Steering Pumps - both new and remanufactured - consists of 1,170 rack part numbers and 1,380 pump part numbers which offer 95% availability for the most popular vehicles on the road, from stock.

Our remanufactured range is produced 100% in-house at our own remanufacturing facilities. We also supply a comprehensive range of premium quality rubber gaiters.

Remanufacturing as it should be

To us, remanufacturing isn’t just a poorer substitute for ‘new’- it’s a process which results in components that are as good as new and perform that way, too. We’ve been doing it since 1979, so we know what we’re talking about.

Take our range of Steering Racks and Pumps. Each one is stripped right back to its bare casting, inspected to ensure that there are no defects, refurbished to the original specifications and then reassembled by hand using all new components that conform to OE specification.

Every unit is 100% factory tested and supplied with a unique test certificate. That’s why we’re confident to be able to supply a 12 month, 19,000 km. warranty.

At Shaftec, everything we do is carried out under one roof at our remanufacturing plant in the heart of the UK.
