An enthusiasm for technology, a fascination with

electricity, and a profound interest in lighting prompted

Carl Steng to found a specialist lighting company in

1911.

Following in the innovative footsteps of his forefathers,

Peter Steng, grandson of the founder, was an early

advocate of low-voltage lighting in the 1980s.

The development of pioneering systems that combined

high-quality engineering with attractive design led to

many national and international awards.

Andreas Steng, representing the fourth generation of

the family, joined the senior management team in

1997, and acquired ownership in 2004.

The STENG success story demonstrates that tradition

and progress are not mutually exclusive.

All STENG lights are manufactured to the highest

quality standards in Germany.

Innovationen von höchster Designkompetenz und

technischer Perfektion präsentierte STENG LICHT in

im März 2016 auf der LIGHT & BUILDING in

Frankfurt. Entwickelt wurden diese Neuheiten in

Kooperation mit renommierten Designern, darunter

Hadi Teherani, Stefanie Hering, Michael Raasch, Prof.

Wulf Schneider und neunzig° Design. Nicht weniger

als sechs absolut neue Produktfamilien wurden

präsentiert.

Auf der einen Seite repräsentiert das Unternehmen

mehr als 100 Jahre Tradition, auf der anderen Seite

ein vielfältiges, zeitgemäßes und modernes Leuchten-

sortiment, sowohl für den hochwertigen, privaten

Einrichtungsbedarf als auch für professionelle

Projektanwendungen.

Der anhaltende Erfolg von STENG LICHT baut auf

viele Parameter: das sind höchste Ansprüche an

Gestaltung, Qualität und Funktion, innovative

technische Entwicklungen sowie absolute Präzision in

der Herstellung.

Elegant, Leistungsstark und Flexibel

Die neue Hängeleuchte PROLONG sorgt für ausgewogene

Lichtverhältnisse über jedem Tisch; egal wie groß oder klein dieser

ist.

Die Leuchte ist von 120cm bis 180cm stufenlos ausziehbar. Wie

das funktioniert ? PROLONG verfügt über eine ausgeklügelte

Technik: Zwei schlanke Profile sind identisch gegeneinander

verdreht und durch zwei illuminierte Acryl-Gleitgehäuse mit-

einander verclippt. Sie können stufenlos auf jede gewünschte

Länge eingestellt werden.

PROLONG sieht leicht und filigran aus. Im Design ist sie

anspruchsvoll reduziert. Platziert über dem Konferenztisch, dem

Esstisch und überall dort, wo gutes Licht gefragt ist.

HÄNGELEUCHTEN HANGING LAMPS

Formal ist sie absolut minimalistisch, in der Technik zukunftsweisend, im Verbrauch ökologisch – und ihr Material

ist kostbar.

Prägend für die ONELINE-Familie ist die einheitliche Dimension des Leuchtenkörpers von nur 12 x 12 mm,

jeweils bestehend aus aufwändig gefrästen Komponenten. Die Diffusoren sind flächig satiniert ausgeführt und an

den Kanten poliert, so dass keine Blendwirkung entsteht.

Die Pendelleuchte ist 120cm lang und wird an hauchdünnen Kabeln befestigt. Sie ist im Grunde ein purer Metall-

stab, der sich in den Raum hinein entwickelt. Das LED-Element wird von einer gefrästen Mulde aufgenommen

und leuchtet gleichmäßig. Beeindruckend ist das linear gestreute, weiche Licht, ohne dass einzelne LED-Punkte

definiert bzw. sichtbar werden.

Große Achtsamkeit wurde neben der präzisen technischen Verarbeitung auch auf die Oberflächen-Veredelung

gelegt. ONELINE gibt es aktuell in vier außergewöhnlichen Ausführungen: Rosegold matt, Gold matt,

Edelmessing matt und in Palladium glanz.

Characteristic for the ONELINE family is the uniform size of the illuminant, a mere 12 x 12 mm, each of which

consists of intricately milled brass and aluminium components. The diffusors made of milled acrylic have been

designed with a satined surface and are polished on the edges so that no glare occurs.

The suspended luminaire is 120 cm long and attached to extremely thin cables. It is basically a pure metal rod

that evolves its way into the room space. The LED element is housed in a milled recess and illuminates evenly.

The soft, linear-dispersed light is impressive, without individual LED point sources being defined or made visible.

Alongside the precise technical craftsmanship, a great deal of attention has been paid to surface finishing as well.

ONELINE is currently available in four out-of-the-ordinary styles: rose-gold matte, gold matte, high-grade brass

matte and palladium glossy.

TISCHLEUCHTEN TABLE LAMPS

Ein skulpturales Designobjekt - Formal ist sie absolut minimalistisch, in der Technik

zukunftsweisend, im Verbrauch ökologisch – und ihr Material ist kostbar.

Prägend für die ONELINE-Familie ist die einheitliche Dimension des Leuchtenkörpers

von nur 12 x 12 mm, jeweils bestehend aus aufwändig gefrästen Komponenten. Die

Diffusoren sind flächig satiniert ausgeführt und an den Kanten poliert, so dass keine

Blendwirkung entsteht.

Neben der Pendelleuchte stehen Tischleuchten zur Wahl, deren eigenständiger und

elegant schmaler Korpus vertikal bzw. horizontal ausgerichtet werden kann.

Standfestigkeit bekommt die Tischleuchte durch den formgebenden Winkel des

Profils. Der Leuchtkopf wird durch ein Gelenk beweglich, lässt sich neigen, ist

schwenkbar und kann 360 Grad – um die eigene Achse – gedreht werden.

Große Achtsamkeit wurde neben der präzisen technischen Verarbeitung auch auf die

Oberflächen-Veredelung gelegt. ONELINE gibt es aktuell in vier außergewöhnlichen

Ausführungen: Rosegold matt, Gold matt, Edelmessing matt und Palladium glanz.

In addition to the suspended version, table luminaires are also available to choose

from whose stand-alone and elegantly narrow body is aligned either vertically or

horizontally. The table luminaire obtains its stability due to the profile’s formative

angle. A joint allows for lamp head mobility: it can be tilted, swivelled and rotated 360

degrees around its own axis.

AX-LED nennen wir unsere dezenten, eleganten Tisch- und

Stehleuchten.

Neben den starren Ausführungen sind schwenkbare Tisch- und

Stehleuchten verfügbar, ausgestattet mit einem Kugelgelenk, so

dass der 12mm Stab stufenlos, nach dem Joy Stick Prinzip, im

Fuß geschwenkt werden kann.

Zur Verwendung kommen ausschließlich hochwertige Premium

LED‘s mit warmweißer Lichtfarbe. Die Füße sind generell in

schwarz struktur (bei den starren Versionen) und in Edelstahl

gebürstet (bei den schwenkbaren).

manufaktur Theresienthal.

Jedes einzelne Glas ist ein mundgeblasenes Unikat. Ergänzt werden diese exklusiven Kristallgläser durch hochwertig oberflächenveredelte

Metallkomponenten.

GLORI-A ist erhältlich als LED- und Halogenversion, jeweils in drei Formen und zwei Farbvarianten: Eine Kugel, eine Olivenform und ein

Lampion, jeweils alternativ in klarem oder rauchgrau durchscheinendem Kristallglas.

GLORIA is the name we gave to our new pendant lamps made from crystal glass. Every individual glass is hand-crafted and hand-blown.

Each one is unique.

Our partner “Theresienthal”, based in Germany, has been producing crystal glass since 1836 – spanning five generations.

This exclusive crystal glass is complemented by metal components with a high-quality finish. GLORIA lights are available in three versions:

spherical, olive- and lampion shaped. Each design comes in clear or translucent gray glass, with either a halogen lamp or an LED.

Formal erinnern sie an Gefäße ursprünglicher Kulturen. Eine traditionelle und gleichzeitig moderne Formensprache. Spielerisch und puristisch wird

sanftes Licht gestreut. Die durchscheinenden Porzellan-Körper werden in handwerklicher Wertarbeit gefertigt. Das unglasierte, in der Oberfläche rohe

Material macht jedes Stück zum Unikat und damit unvergleichlich. Im Ensemble entsteht eine avantgardistische Leuchtenszenerie für Wohlfühllicht im

Raum.

WOASH ist verfügbar in offener und geschlossener Version. Als offene Leuchte zeigt sie einen sanften Spot. Als geschlossene Leuchte präsentiert

sie sich als sympathisch diffuse Lichtquelle. Beide Varianten gibt es ausschließlich in LED-Ausführung für den Anschluss mit STENG-Steckkontakt.

Darüber hinaus bietet STENG LICHT Deckenbaldachine an, mit denen ein beeindruckend elegantes Mobile aus sieben oder mehr Pendelleuchten

entsteht, alternativ angeordnet in rund, rechteckig, quadratisch, oval oder linear.

In form and design this shades are reminiscent of pots of original cultures. The lamps are suspended by our thin coaxial cable and have a spherical

Diese Pendelleuchte bildet eine formale Ergänzung zur Leuchtenfamilie

STICK. Der Schirm gibt durch seine konische Form ein warmes, diffuses

Raumlicht und zusätzliches Licht nach unten.

Verfügbar ist MINI-STICK als Ausführung für 230V mit integriertem

kreieren kann, die einerseits ein schönes Leselicht gibt und gleichzeitig eine angenehme Atmosphäre

schafft. Dabei war es uns wie immer wichtig, dem Ganzen eine überraschende und einfache

Funktion zu verleihen.

Deshalb lässt sich die Neigung der Leuchte über den Fuß leicht und individuell verstellen.

Our goal was to create a luminaire that is as simple as possible, and only uses a few elements, but

delivers attractive light for reading and creates a pleasant atmosphere.

An important consideration for us was to equip the whole ensemble with a surprising and simple

functionality. That is why the luminaire angle can be easily and individually adjusted at the base.

OPTIMAL LED DOWNLIGHTS

Optimal sind diese Downlights in ihren konstruktionstechnischen Eigenschaften realisiert. Optimal

ist ihre licht- und montagetechnische Anwendbarkeit.

Deckenbündig schließende Einbaugehäuse mit Aufnahmeadapter für die einfache Adaption der

hochausgeblendeten OPTIMAL-Systemreflektoren.

Das LED-Modul kann bei Bedarf einfach getauscht werden ohne dass das Produkt ins Werk

eingesandt

werden muss.

Projektspezifische Sonderlösungen für nahezu alle erdenklichen Anwendungen sind auf Anfrage möglich. OPTIMAL by name, Optimal by nature. This Downlights are not simply OPTIMAL by name. They

are also optimal in terms of design and construction. Above all, it is easy to install,and easy to use.

This recessed housing can be flush mounted to ceilings, and features an adapter for precise

positioning of the OPTIMAL anti-glare reflectors.

The reflectors and LED-units can be easily replaced or changed quickly on site.Custom versions

are available on request.

OPTIMAL-HCL Downlights zeichnen sich dadurch aus, dass Farbtemperatur, Lichtfarbe und Helligkeit bei sehr guten Farbwiedergabeeigenschaften

individuell geregelt werden können und somit das beste Licht für jede Anwendung liefern. Farbtemperatur und Helligkeit lassen sich einfach und

schnell ändern, aber auch komplexe Farbverläufe oder Farbtemperaturverläufe können individuell eingestellt werden bzw. automatisch ablaufen.

Es ist möglich, die Lichtmanagementsysteme mit verschiedenen Steuerungsverfahren zu regeln: 1-10V, DMX, DALI DT8 oder ZigBee Standard.

In seinen konstruktionstechnischen und optischen Eigenschaften sind OPTIMAL HCL identisch unseren anderen OPTIMAL LED-Downlights

realisiert und können deshalb einfach kombiniert werden.

The unique features of our OPTIMAL HCL Downlights are that they are able to control lighting colour temperatures, colours and intensity individually

while maintaining excellent colour rendering. In this way, they are able to provide perfect illumination for any application.

The lighting management systems can be controlled in several ways:1-10V, DMX, DALI DT8 or ZigBee Standard.

These controls can be used to vary colour temperature and intensity as well as to pre-set individual, time-dependent colour and colour temperature

variations and to run these automatically as well.
