For a connection between your mobile phone and your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system to besuccessful, Bluetooth® must be turned on in your mobile phone. Please make sure to also read theoperating and pairing instructions of the mobile phone. Please follow the steps below to connect yourmobile phone Samsung Galaxy S9 with the mobile phone application of your Mercedes-Benz hands-freesystem using Bluetooth®.
Step 1
To get to the telephone screen of your Mercedes-Benzhands-free system press the Phone button on the homescreen.
Step 2
Select the Phone icon in the lower right corner.
Step 3
Select the “Connect a New Device” application.
Step 4
Select the “Search from Device”

The display of your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system willshow "Ready for Bluetooth connection." Now the system isready for a new Bluetooth connection.
Step 6 (to be performed on your Samsung Galaxy S9)

The pairing process will generate a 6-digit passcode anddisplay it on the screen. Verify that the same 6 digits areshown on the display of your phone.
Step 8
There will be a pop-up "Bluetooth Request: 'MB Bluetooth' would like to pair with your phone. Confirmthat the code '### ###' is shown on 'MB Bluetooth'. "Select "Pair" on your phone if the codes match.
Step 9
After the passcode is verified on both the mobile and the COMAND, the phone will begin to beauthorized.
Step 10
If the authorization was successful the Bluetooth screen will now show “MB Bluetooth” and “Connected”.

After your mobile phone is successfully connected viaBluetooth® to your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system, thename of your mobile phone (example "My Phone") will bedisplayed on the top of the phone screen.
