1. Chromebook Enrollment Please refer to the nTouch guide https://ntouch.nus.edu.sg/dwp/app/#/knowledge/KBA00015211/rkm on enrolling Asus and Lenovo Chromebooks. Dell Chromebook is enrolled before delivery.

2. Click on “Next”.

3. Type in your “NUS ID” without domain, your password, and click on “Sign in”.

4. Approve the 2FA on your mobile phone.

5. Click on the round icon on the top right, in my case is “TT”, followed by “Account”.

6. Click on “Horizon Client for Chrome”, not “Install” and after that, a “tick” will appear.

7. Go back to Favorites and click on either “Virtual Desktop A” or “Virtual Desktop B” to launch from now on. Virtual Desktop A and B are different Virtual sessions. If you face issue with one of them, you can disconnect from that session and click on the other.

8. Staff Virtual Desktop launches with the Chrome OS task bar below.

9. nBox “Configuration and Registration” should pop-up. If it does not launch automatically, launch it from the desktop or Windows Start menu.

10. Follow the prompts and you will complete your nBox configuration and registration, followed by taking some time to sync your files in the background.

11. Launch Outlook from the Windows Start Menu and key in your password when prompted.

12. Uncheck “Allow my organization to manage my device” and click on “No, sign in to this app only”. The first launch will take some time to start up, followed by syncing your Inbox and other folders.

13. The Virtual Desktop session is maintained for 4 days before it is reset. To close your session each time without it being reset, click on the Windows Start button, then click on the “Disconnect” tile.

14. During maintenance of Virtual Desktop image, you will be required to “Log Out” of your Virtual Desktop session, which means your session will be reset. This is to allow the NUS IT team to patch the Windows Operating System as well as the software. Click on the Windows Start button, then click on the “Log Out” tile.

15. The Horizon Client for Chrome has a menu bar at the top. To invoke it, move your mouse cursor slowly to the top edge.

16. This is “Disconnect” button.

17. This is Log off, like the “Log Out” tile on the Windows Start Menu.

18. Remember to “Sign out” and power off your

Chromebook after use.
