TURBO BOB (2) has trailed the field in the back-straight. LA MONTENARA (3) has galloped on the heels of AHH BIG GEORGE (7) exiting the back-straight, causing AHH BIG GEORGE (7) to shift-out and lose ground. BOIL AND BUBBLE (1) and JERRY CAN (4) have raced tightly in the turn into the home-straight. AHH BIG GEORGE (7) has appeared to fatigue in the finishing stages of the event. TURBO BOB (2) has finished well behind all other runners. TURBO BOB (2) was subsequently examined by the on-course veterinary surgeon, which failed to identify any apparent injury. AHH BIG GEORGE (7) was also examined by the on-course veterinary surgeon, which also failed to identify any apparent injury. Stewards spoke with the handler of TURBO BOB (2) in regards to the greyhounds’ performance throughout the event. Stewards expressed their concerns in regards to the satisfactory performance of TURBO BOB (2). After taking into consideration the submission made by the hander, TURBO BOB (2) was issued with an Unsatisfactory Performance in accordance with GAR71.

SPEEDY GALLON (6) has galloped on the heels of BIGTIME FERNANDO (5). HARD LEFT (1) has appeared to ease in the home-straight and in so turning he’s head outwardly towards TEEVEE REMA (3). HARD LEFT (1) was subsequently examined by the on-course veterinary surgeon post-race, which revealed an injury to the Nearside Hind and Offside Dew Claw Evulsion. As a result of the actions of HARD LEFT (1) in the home-straight, Stewards interviewed the Trainer (Mr James Porter). Stewards provided a replay of the race footage to Mr Porter. Based on the actions of HARD LEFT (1) in the home-straight and considerations of the sustained injury, Stewards deemed formed the opinion that HARD LEFT (1) failed to pursue the lure with due commitment due to injury in accordance with GAR 69B. As such, HARD LEFT (1) is required to trial satisfactorily before Stewards.
