Dear doctoral candidates, Young researchers from all over the world form the heart of the research culture here at the Technische Univer-

sität München. The TUM Graduate School therefore particu-larly promotes networking as well as interdisciplinary and international qualification programs. it ensures that during your doctoral program, you as a young and talented sci-entist have the chance to acquire vital know-how such as team leadership and project management skills as well as entrepreneurial spirit that the TUM is famous for. By this we hope that you get all the necessary gear to take up leader-ship positions within industry, academia and science after your graduation.

the exclusive StiBet events, financially supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), provide you with the possibility to network with your fellow doctoral can-didates and to get to know the TUM, Munich, Bavaria and its cultural heritage. We would hereby like to invite you to the upcoming events this summer semester! As in the last semesters your partner and children are more than welcome to join the events as well. Furthermore you might be able to take a friend with you, provided that there are still places available. For more details about the registration and pay-ment, please read the information following the events. For now I wish you a successful start and a lot of fun during these events!
