The insert concept of the new STICKS valve series by STÖHR ARMATUREN provides the industry with de-cisive advantages. The main advantage beside oth-ers is the ability for a fast and cost-effective change of the valve function within the existing system.

The STICKS valve series is designed for durability and compatibility. The insert concept allows a fast and simple exchange of the complete insert under depressurised condition.

For example a manual valve can be changed into a pneumatic valve, a regulation valve or a non-return-valve with low costs and almost without breakdown.

STICKS means quality in all details, operation reli-ability, continuity and flexibility.

With a STICKS valve it is possible to change the function of the valve by exchanging just the insert. IE: From a manual stop valve to a regulating valve.The inserts are suitable for all types of valve housing, straight through and 90° angled.

– The insert concept of STICKS allows a variable valve series, particularly designed for the requirements of cryogenic and liquified fields.

– The standard STICKS valve is designed for liquid nitrogen at -196° C. The modified version is also suitable for example for liquid medium as oxygen, helium, hydrogen, xenon, krypton, argon.

– The STICKS insert concept allows any combination within one valve size of manual or pneumatic, regulation or non-return-valve inserts with straight pattern or angle valves.

– The standard STICKS is supplied with s.s. bellow and s.s. flange for in-stallation into vacuum insulated pipes, cryogenic vessels or cryostats.

– STICKS is designed for very low heat introduction and maintenance-free operation.

– The limitation of the closing pressure of manual on-off valves and regula-tion valves avoids overtightening or damage of the seat.

– With the limitation of the closing pressure cone and valve seat are pro-tected, the valve is leak tight.

– Regulation valve in compact design with integrated IP positioner for an equal percentage characteristic curve.

– The pneumatic and electro-pneumatic STICKS can be retrofitted with limit switches.

– The valve housings are made from solid stainless steel.– The valve surfaces are grinded or electropolished.– Valves for ultrahigh purity can be assembled and tested in a cleanroom.– Filters are available with regenerative s.s. filter elements of all current

filter degrees.
