Mechanical Fixing Methods
The stone is fixed to the backup wall ( Concrete or steel beams) using steel anchors that restrain vertical and horizontal movement of the stone.
At most cases the stone is distant from the backup wall so an air cavity is created between the stone and the backup wall. That air cavity enables better building ventilation and thermal & acoustic insulation.

Name: Israeli MethodDescription: the first raw of bottom stones is supported by a concrete or steel ledge. The upper rows are built on the first raw. Each stone is tied to a metal wire mesh that is fixed to the backup all with screws. After securing the stones, a concrete is poured to the gap between the stone rows and the backup wall crating a reinforced concrete.Stone Thickness: 1 ½” and upStone dimensions : 12” height X free length
