Keinton (Blue Lias Limestone) A unique stone quarried in Somerset which is a pastel hue of blues with some golden outer crust layers. Occasional fossils visible.

Penbryn (Blue Pennant Sandstone) Extraordinarily durable welsh sandstone, the tough of the stone industry. Predominantly blue to grey with occasional iron or coal markings.

Lonsdale (Grey Yorkshire Sandstone) Versatile ‘dove’ blue grey Sandstone with occasional muted copper browns.

Thorpe (Buff Yorkshire Sandstone) A tough buff grit stone, well suited to English winters and high traffic.






Rothwell (Buff Yorkshire Sandstone) A stone with a good mix of tones which adds interest and character with a characteristically buff background tone, this stone is wonderfully brought to life by flaming tones of burnt orange.






Charlton (Grey Yorkshire Sandstone) A classic light grey stone with swathes of sweeping muted copper laid down in patterns that only nature could deliver.







Glenbeigh (Blue Irish Limestone) A dark and handsome blue limestone. Incredibly hard and durable making this an ideal choice for high trafficked areas.








Colne (Buff Yorkshire Sandstone)Traditional dark buff sandstone, the real thing, quarried and hand crafted ethically here in England.

Ardmore (Blue Irish Limestone) Similar in character to Keinton, the predominant flooring of the old houses of Somerset. A ‘warm lived in charm’ stone with a bold rippled surface.

Lydney (Blue Forest of Dean Pennant) A true favourite. Lydney is a carboniferous pennant sandstone that boasts a mix of blue greys to pale browns.






Chatsworth (Grey Derbyshire Limestone) A beautiful fossil limestone of the Peak District, Derbyshire. This mink grey stone is overlaid with pale ivory fossils of Crinoids, brachiopods, corals and even occasionally shark’s teeth!






Tytherington (Grey Derbyshire Limestone) Another beautiful grey brown toned stone with striking white veins making this product a real masterpiece.






Darley (Buff Yorkshire Sandstone) Durable and consistent buff sandstone quarried in the heart of Yorkshire. A warm tone of beige and olive with minimal marking or distinctive patterning.

Cwellyn (Blue Welsh Slate) A hard pale blue slate quarried by hand in the beautiful Snowdonia Mountains. Famous for its durability and its consistent natural grain, Cwellyn is perfect in all internal and external applications.

Kingston (Dark Purbeck Limestone) A tough stone well suited to high traffic areas and requires minimal maintenance. Warm tones of smoked brown oak to pale ochre.







Durlston (Buff Purbeck Limestone) Another hard limestone from the Purbeck Hills which is perfect in both internal and exterior applications. A hard wearing and forgiving stone which is pale buttercream to mid grey wonderfully blended by nature.







Monarch (Buff Irish Sandstone) An unrivalled pale quarzitic sandstone with royal qualities. This stone is a creamy gold to misty grey in colour.






Darley Riven (Buff Yorkshire Sandstone) An original classic, hand quarried and hand dressed. This Yorkshire sandstone has been a favourite for hundreds of years. Light biscuit and gold’s with overtones of pastel olive.

Bespoke Fonte is best known where bespoke requirements are specified. From detailed and intricate designs to large and simple formats, Fonte offers expertise in bespoke finishing using state of the art and purpose built machinery. Developing techniques has taken Fonte generations to perfect and this is shown in one of the greatest selections of finishes available today.

With requirements that are unique with every project, Fonte will provide the technical assistance needed to help their clients in delivering their vision and work with the desired choice of stone. Every stone is different and

Fonte will work with the needs of the client to ensure that the stone is the best choice to suit the application. Drawings in CAD or similar programs are the preferred method of production source and if necessary, templates and profiles are created as part of the production process. Fonte is able to provide bespoke stonework and masonry on site subject to request.
