Over 30,000 dogs and cats are killed each year by the Lost Dogs' Home, the Cat Protection SocietyVictoria and RSPCA Victoria our states largest shelters. These organisations receive millions ofdollars each year in donations from the public who believe they do everything they can to save petslives. These organisations receive millions more when they agree to provide a pound service for yourlocal council, funded by your pet registration fees and rates.

Thousands more dogs and cats are killed in council-run pounds each year also funded by your petregistration fees and rates.

A steadily growing number of people believe the current approach to managing impounded pets inour community is unacceptable. We are, however, seeing glimpses of positive change. Join us onSunday March 2 nd to find out more.

Homeless pets need us to speak out on their behalf.
