Introduction:Tradicional systems based on discrete components integration is a way to optimize their technical characteristics, performance and also their size and weight, obtaining high autonomy, light, small size portable systems and easy to use because of their simple user interface.
Conclusions: * Optimize components number, power, size, weight,
* Helps in data collection.
Results:Improvements obtained integrating the traditional system into an ASIC.
• + 60 components. Components reduction - 3 Basic components. Display LCD + CHIP + Keyboard
• Power: + 350 mW. Power reduction - Power: 12.5 mW.
• 8 button batteries. Weight reduction - 1 button battery.
• Size: 8 x 14 x 3 (cm) Size reduction - Size: 10 x 8 x 1 (cm)
