The effects need to reinforce the Burnage Media Arts College branding by strong use of the corporate colours. The colours should be luminous/fluorescent/vibrant - they should demonstrate energy. Video/Film Include these symbols/effects/icons for video and film scenes? Sound Include these kind of effects for shots referring to sound/music/radio? Student work Include media cutouts in animation - this can be done involving the BMAC students. Obviously retouched to make generic and not branded. Various appropriate technology for each scene.

Audio: Our college specialises in media art. The fun starts HERE!

Visual: • Student A speaks to camera

• Clicks fingers on word ‘HERE’

• This activates energetic/fluorescent graphics

Audio: We get to work with video…

Visual: • Camera pans across to Student B who is holding a video camera

• Appropriate cutouts/graphics/effects of lights, jibs, film and video symbols

Audio: …and sound

Visual: • Camera pans across to Student C who’s at a mixing desk

• Appropriate cutouts/graphics/effects of speakers, wavelengths,graphic equalisers etc.

Audio: …and we create some pretty cool stuff…that’s our fantastic new building

Visual: • Camera pans to Student D opening a book. (using hand held green screen)

• New building pops up - in 3D - spinning?

• Dynamic effects/magical glowing aura?

Audio: we’re good at sport

Visual: • Camera pans across to Student E

• In football kit

• Kicks an animated ball towards the camera - smashed pixel effect revealing next frame…

Audio: …and drama

Visual: • Student F dressed as Harry Potter

• Waves a wand - hits air triggering more special effects

Audio: …and we work hard…

Visual: • Camera pans to Student G at deskwith open Mac laptop

• Presses a key

• Effects burst out of screen - academic icons - maths equations,chemistry symbols, globes, formulas, languages, historical images etc.

Audio: and we get the results...

Visual: • Camera pans across to Student H

• Flies across screen on zip wire? or abseils in? (adventure/outdoor pursuit theme)

• ‘Son of Rambow’ type of movement effects?

Audio: …are you impressed yet?

Visual: • Back to Student A

Visual: • Camera pans 180° following Student A to behind the scenes

• Shows whole production team of students

Visual: • Close up on Student A

Audio: Burnage Media Arts College.It’s time to enjoy media.

Visual: • White background with black type of BMAC logo

• The 5 coloured symbols fly in in quick succession

• Each lands in the right place in turn with a thud sound effect
