As a Strategic Account Manager, you must be highly motivated and courageous with a strong blend of consultative selling skills and tech / IT knowledge. You must also have solid analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as keen attention to detail. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and active-listening skills, as you will be developing relationships with decision makers at a wide variety of different companies.

Specific qualifications for the Strategic Account Manager position include:

2+ years of business-to-business sales experience, preferably in a complex and challenging sales environment

Strong prospecting and business development skills Demonstrated ability to maintain and build a strong sales pipeline Coachable Ability to sell in a team environment Ability to keep current with a large and ever-growing product line Excellent customer service abilities
