ABOUT US

Jonas Bengtsson specialises in life cycle assessment and triple bottom line (environment, social and �nancial) sustainability and environmental ratings tools, products certi�cations, and climate change adaptation/mitigation. He has experiences froma broad range of sectors, including construction, manufacturing, retail, restaurants, agriculture, telecommunication, energy and �nance.

Yvonne spearheaded BCA’s sustainable construction initiative as Director of the Centre for Sutainable Buildings and Construction, where she successfully collaborated with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) on sustainable resource management in the building sector.

At IWBI, Samantha supervise the overall market development, education around and greater adoption of the WELL Building StandardTM and WELL Community StandardTM in the Asia Pasi�c region. Samantha joined IWBI with a body of experience from her background in scienti�c research, particularly her expertise in public health.

Szue Hann’s current work is in circular economy R&D and design, creating architecture, spaces and products through upcycling materials. His portfolio includes the award-winning ParkRoyal on Pickering, the SPACE Asia Hub and the O&M HQ with WOHA; the BCA SkyLab, a state-of -the-art rotatable test bed for building technologies, which won a Minister’s Award on National Day, 2017; an IT campus in Bangalore; and a smart city master plan in Bangkok, while he was heading Sustainability at Surbana Jurong.

Dave has over 10 years of experiences developing holistic business development and communication strategies with a focus on green buildings, energy, sustainability and disruptive technologies.

Sharif James has been in the �eld of Sustainability since 2003 and presently leads operational township sustainability for Business Unit 1, Sime Darby Property. He currently focuses on; 1) executionof Sustainability Initiatives and Programs within City of Elmina Sustainability Plan 2018-2030, 2) facilitating sustainability-related strategic partnerships, 3) formulation and execution of community placemaking programs 4) institutional engagement

REHDA Institute is a not for profit charitable foundation which acts as the training and research arm of REHDA Malaysia to address the needs of the housing and property industry.

REHDA Institute objectives and activities focuses on the 3 main pillars of:

• Training & Events: Providing industry relevant training and events for the real estate and property development industry with the aim to improve productivity, innovate new ideas towards achieving the highest standards of professionalism and advance best practices for the industry.

• Research: Spearhead industry relevant research to drive improvements on industry’s best practices, research contents for members’ consumption and contribute positively to the overall development of Malaysia. This will be achieved through the production of industry relevant research papers, compilation and analysis of research data, publications and analysis of current issues.• Education: Working hand in hand with tertiary institutions, REHDA Institute aspires to work on Executive Programmes for middle and senior management of the industry to groom future leaders of the industry. These Executive Programmes will be industry relevant to improve the value and skill set of those involved in the industry.

GreenRe is the green real estate certification body established and owned by the REAL ESTATE HOUSING DEVELOPERS ASSOCIATION MALAYSIA (REHDA). Our core objectives are to provide an objective and international standard rating system to certify real estate projects as environmentally sustainable and to promote green buildings and sustainable development in malaysia.

We have adopted internationally recognised best practices as well as incorporated Malaysian standards in formulating our green building and township rating tools for the Malaysian built environment. Collaboration with the Malaysia’s Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change (MESTECC) puts us in alignment with the Malaysian government’s strategy for enhancing environmental sustainability and achieving CO2 emissions reduction targets agreed upon with the global community. Confirmation of Registration Participants/Participating company will need to send us back the registration form with their official company stamp as confirmation of their agreement with the organiser’s terms and conditions.

No cancellation Once we have received the registration form with the company’s stamp and seal, the organisers will allocate food, seating arrangements etc. for the delegates. Hence you will still be charged whether or not your participants turn up on the day.

Payments For registrants intending to take advantage of the discounted early bird price, please make full payment before the end of the early bird period. If payment are made AFTER the early bird period, the price invoiced will be changed to the full price. Kindly ensure that payments are made early to take advantage of the discounts.
