- Knowing the pronunciation
- Knowing prepositions that may change its meaning
- Etc.
Strategies:
1. Pick useful words for your needs and interests.
2. Write / Read them in a meaningful context.
3. Learn them in topic groups.
4. Learn them in root groups.
5. Learn them with their collocations.
6. Use acronyms, imagination and humor.
