Dr. Lam graduated from Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology, University
of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh city, Viet Nam. He received
the PhD degree and completed the training in Fixed Prosthodontics
and Implantology in Dental School, Marseille, France. He lectured
at the Department of Prosthodontics, Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology
in Ho Chi Minh city, Viet Nam from 2008 to 2016.In 2011, he’s been
awarded the Winner of Oral presentation at IADR SEA (Singapore).His
main field of clinical research in implant dentistry is immediate
loading, ProArch concept and digital work flow.He is currently ITI
Fellow, ITI Study club director and Fellow ICD. He has been
actively serving as general secretary of Ho Chi Minh city society
of Dental Implantology, member of international committee of Thai
Association of Dental Implantology.He is also the co-founder of
Elite Dental Group, a private center specialized in implant and
esthetic dentistry in Ho Chi Minh city.
Dr. Tran Hung Lam
DDS, PhD
Dr. Nam graduated from Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology, University
of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh city, Viet Nam. He received
the Master degree in Periodontology at Munster University,
Germany.He’s currently ITI member, visiting lecturer of Dental
School, Ha Noi Medical University and also a member of HSDI (Ho Chi
Minh city society of Dental Implant) educational board. His private
practice is focused on implant and periodontology.
Dr. Than is a doctor of dental surgery with a DDS degree from
the Medicine and Pharmacy University of HCMC in Vietnam. In 2016,
he completed his Master Studies at the Faculty of
Odonto-Stomatology at the same university in Ho Chi Minh City. In
addition, Dr. Than has completed multiple courses in USA, Austria,
Korea, China, Australia, and Holland.Dr. Than is a nationally
recognized presenter of reports and case series at regional events
and conferences. He also teaches at the Hospital of
Odonto-Stomatology of HCMC and Ha Noi on the topics such as patient
preparation prior to an implant surgery, imaging in implantology,
peri-implantitis, digital treatment planning, etc.Dr. Than is the
Director of HCMC ITI study club. He is a member of ICOI, HOSA (HCMC
Odonto-Stomatology Association), and a member of executive
committee of HSDI (HCMC Society of Dental Implantology).

Course OverviewBeing edentulous is a significant handicap in
terms of function and esthetic. The challenges when restoring
edentulous cases are treatment duration, cost, bone augmentation
procedures…
These advances in the past decades have brought many
improvements in implant treatment such as: implant macro design,
implant surface and also treatment procedures. The Straumann®
ProArch treatment concept allows restoring edentulous or-soon-to-be
edentulous cases with a patient-centered approach. Some advantages
of the Straumann® ProArch fixed technique can be drawn as:
immediate provisional, reducing of treatment duration, reasonable
cost and avoiding bone augmentation while still maintaining success
rate for the long-term.
The objective of this 3-days course is to present the Straumann®
ProArch treatment philosophy and clinical protocol through theory
lectures, hands-on and live demo on patients.
During the course, participants will follow the live surgery and
prosthetic restoration of two fully edentulous patients from the
treatment planning, implant surgery and immediate prosthesis.
