IMPORTANT SUBJECTS IN THIS YEARS SCHEDULE

HIGHLIGHTS & CHANGES

I HALF HOUR SERVICE

The Blue, Yellow, Orange and Red routes have service in addition to the regular hourlyservice during peak times in the morning and afternoon. These additional services onlyoperate Monday-Friday during the main academic terms at MSU (August 19-December13, and January 8-May 2). Look for the highlighted columns for each route to see whattimes these extra routes operate.

I REDLINE

The stop at Ace Hardware has been eliminated.

I YELLOWLINE

The stops at MSU Family & Graduate housing have been combined at Gareld & 15th.The stop at Ace Hardware has been eliminated, as well as the stop at Highland & SouthCedarview.

I ORANGELINE

The route formally called Yellowline East, will now be called the Orangeline. The stopat Wallace and Main is a Whistle Stop Monday Friday only.

I DIRECTION OF TRAVEL

Look for these symbols ( ) in the time tables, next to the name of the stop,indicating the direction in which the bus is travelling.

I WHISTLE STOP (ORANGE & LIVINGSTON ROUTE)

The buses travel on specic routes which are shown on the map. Buses stop atdesignated stops, which are signed along the route, and at whistle stops. Whistle stopsare for dropping off passengers, the bus will only stop with a passenger request made

prior to the stop. Times listed for whistle stops are an estimated time of arrival.

I LATENIGHT CHANGES

Both the Upstream and Downtown services will operate Thursday-Sunday from August19 until May 2. The Downtown route provides half-hour service from the MSU Campusto downtown, while the Upstream route provides hourly service that connects downtown

with many Bozeman neighborhoods. See the map for details, including the two transferpoints between these routes.

I LATE TRANSFER POLICY

Buses will NOT wait at Transfer Stations for another bus that is running too far behindschedule (except on last run). This should keep all other routes on time. We apologize ifthis causes any inconvenience.

during the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. There is a stop on the Orange route

at Wallace and Main servicing the Public Library. There is no Half-Hour service

on Saturdays.

DAYS OF SERVICEThe bus runs Monday through Friday with modied Saturday service available

on the Yellow, Orange, and Blue lines. Please refer to the timetables for exact

hours of service for each route. Service is not provided on the following holidays:

New Years Day; Martin Luther King Day; Memorial Day; 4th of July; Labor Day;

Thanksgiving Day; and Christmas Day.

BUS INFORMATION

READING THE TIME TABLESReading from the top of the list down, nd the main stop closest to you in the

direction that you are traveling. Follow the row from left to right to determine the

time the next bus will be at that particular stop. Clocks may differ, please allow

extra time for travel to your stop. Buses will not leave earlier than the scheduled

times listed.

I WHERE THE BUS STOPS

The buses travel on specied routes that are shown on the map. Buses stop at

designated bus stops, which are signed along the route. Buses stop at directedstops only when traveling in the stops designated direction. Please refer to the

map for all stop locations.

I EXITING THE BUS

Please signal the driver at least one block before your stop by pulling the stop

request cable next to your seat. Think safety- do not cross in front of the bus.

Wait for the bus to move on before crossing the street.

I WHEELCHAIR ACCESS

All buses are wheelchair accessible. Special transportation is available for

persons with disabilities who are unable to use the xed route bus system.

I BIKES ON THE BUS

As an added feature, buses are equipped with bike racks so passengers can

take their bikes with them. The racks hold up to three bikes and are available on

a rst-come, rst-served basis. The racks are easy to use and are designed for

riders to load and unload bikes independently. Assistance is available to rst time

users where it is safe for the driver to exit the bus.

I WEATHER

If the temperature is -20 degrees F or colder, the bus system may not operate.

If for any reason the bus system will not operate, every attempt will be made to

inform the public through the local radio and television stations.
