Retailer of the Year 2014 Suppliers’ Choice

ABOUT THE SURVEY The survey identifying the winner in indi-vidual categories is conducted by a mar-ket research company Nielsen based on the representative group of the compa-nies from the FMCG sector. The survey has been conducted since 2010 at the order of Blue Business Media. The persons directly cooperating with the retail chains are participating in the survey. The respondents assess in 1 to 100 scale the weight of individual areas of cooperation and subsequently, using the same scale, they assess the individual re-

tail networks with which they cooperate within the individual sales channels. The survey is conducted under a mixed in-terview method CATI/CAWI. The criteria assessed by the representatives of the producers include: commercial terms, cooperation within the supply chain, joint development of the promotional strategies and campaigns, promotional activities of the retail chains, innovative-ness, aesthetic look of the sales fl oor, appearance of marketing materials, con-tact with representatives of the retail chains or timely execution of obligations.

The offi cial “Retailer of the Year. Select-ed by the Suppliers” award gala is the regular element of Poland & CEE Retail Summit.

During the upcoming summit we will resolve the fi fth edition of the compe-tition. The aim of the award is to distin-guish the retail and wholesale chains operating in the given formats in the Polish market, the cooperation with which is most profi table for the FMCG producers. This is the only distinction on the market granted to retail and whole-sale chains by their suppliers.
