Тема: Подорож до Великобританії. Англія. Лондон.

Мета: узагальнити вивчений лексико-граматичний матеріал до теми «Великобританія»; розвивати навички монологічного та діалогічного мовлення; активізувати пізнавальний інтерес до вивчення англійської мови; розширювати знання учнів про англомовні країни, культуру та звичаї англійців; виховувати почуття дружби та поваги до англомовного народу.

Обладнання: карта Великобританії, парта, дошка, магніти, , малюнки визначних місць Лондона, парта зі скатертиною, три чашки різного розміру, печиво на тарілці,малюнки з продуктами харчування, призи за відповіді, малюнки-відповіді до загадок.

Хід заходу

Учні 4 класу виходять до дошки, на якій висять карта Англії, малюнки визначних місць Лондона, та по черзі розповідають про цю країну. Оскільки на цьому святі присутні учні 1,2,3 класів ,які можуть не все зрозуміти, то спочатку один учень говорить англійською, а інший виступає в ролі перекладача.

Pupil 1. Good morning! Good morning! Good morning dear guests! Today we want to tell you about London and about Englishmen.

Pupil 2. Доброго ранку! Доброго ранку! Доброго ранку, шановні гості! Сьогодні ми хочемо розповісти вам про Лондон, Англію і англійців.

Pupil 3. What a happy day today,

Day today, day today!

All the children want to play,

All the children dance all day.

What a happy, happy day!

Pupil 4. The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland consist of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The capital of England is London. The capital of Scotland is Edinburgh. The capital of Wales is Cardiff. The capital of Northern Ireland is Belfast. England is the heart of Britain.

Pupil 5. Об’єднане Королівство Великобританії та Північної Ірландії складається з Англії, Шотландії, Уельса та Північної Ірландії. Столиця Англії – Лондон. Едінбург - столиця Шотландії. Кадіф – столиця Уельсу та столиця Північної Ірландії – Белфаст. Англія – серце Британії.

Pupil 6. London is the capital of England. It is one of interesting places in the world. About 1 million people live here. There is a big river in London – the Thames.

Pupil 2. Лондон - столиця Англії. Це одне з найцікавіших міст у світі. Близько 8 мільйонів людей живе тут. Є в Лондоні велика річка Темза.

Pupil 3. There the famous clock in London called Big Ben. There are about 10 thousand streets in London with a lot of shops and cafes, cinemas and theatres, galleries and museums.

Pupil 4. У Лондоні є великий годинник, який називається Біг Бен. У Лондоні є близько 10 тисяч вулиць, на яких ми можемо побачити магазини та кафе, кінотеатри та театри, галереї та музеї.

Pupil 5. London is a big and beautiful city. There are lots of places of interest in London, such as Tower Bridge, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and others (показує визначні місця Лондона).There are many parks and gardens in London

Pupil 6. Лондон – це велике та красиве місто. У Лондоні є багато визначних місць, зокрема Тауерський Міст, Собор Святого Павла, Вестмінстерське Аббатство та багато інших. У Лондоні є багато парків та садків.

Pupil. Let’s recite poems!

Tick – tock, tick – tock,

This is Big Ben the clock

Big Ben is a clock.

Pupil . Day and night

With all its might

Big Ben the clock

Says tick-tock.

Pupil. Do you know the world “hooligan”? Yes, you know the world and you don’t like hooligans. But do you know that Hooligan was an England surname?

Pupil. А чи чули ви слово «хуліган»? Так, чули, і вам не подобаються хулігани. Але чи знаєте ви, що Хуліган спочатку було англійським прізвищем?

Pupil. In 1890 in London there lived a man whose surname was Hooligan. He was a very bad man. He lived badly and everybody in London knew him. When somebody began to behave badly, people said, “Oh! He behaves like Hooligan.” And a new word was born.

Pupil. У 1890 році в Лондоні жив чоловік, прізвище якого було Хуліган. Він поводився погано, і кожен у Лондоні знав його. Коли хтось починав поводитись погано, люди говорили: « О, він поводиться як хуліган». Так з’явилося нове слово.

Pupil. People in England have their breakfast at home. A traditional English breakfast is a very big meal – sausage, bacon, eggs, tomatoes… But now people just have cereal with milk and sugar, or toast with jam or honey. The traditional breakfast drink is tea with cold milk.

Pupil. Англійці снідають вдома. Традиційний англійський сніданок складається з ковбаси, бекону, яєць, помідорів. Але зараз дедалі частіше на сніданок їдять кашу з молоком та цукром або медом. Традиційний ранковий напій в англійців – чай з холодним молоком.

Pupil. Englishman have lunch at 12 or 1 o’clock . Schoolchildren usually have lunch at school. Englishman have dinner or 6 or 7 o’clock in the evening. On Sunday many families have a traditional lunch . They have roast meat with potatoes and vegetables.

Pupil. Англійці мають ланч о 12.00 або щ 13.00. Школярі зазвичай мають ланч у школі. Обідають о 6 чи 7 годині вечора. У неділю багато родин мають традиційний ланч, на який вони готують смажене м'ясо з картоплею та овочами.

Pupil. One, two, three- let me see

Who likes coffee and who likes tea.

One, two, three- oh, I see,

I like coffee and you like tea!

Teacher. You listened about the London, and now answer the questing .

1. Як називається відомий годинник в Англії ? 2. Яке місто є столицею Англії ? 3. Який улюблений ранковий напій в англійців? 4. Які визначні місця Лондона ви запам'ятали? 5. Яка річка тече в Лондоні?

(учні 4 класу інсценують уривок казки “ Three Bears” )

“ Three Bears”

Three Bears are sitting at table, drinking milk.

Story- teller. It`s England. There bears live in the forest. You can see Mother Bear, Father Bear and Baby Bear. They are having breakfast. They are drinking milk. Listen!

Mother- Bear. Take your cup,Father!

Father Bear . Thank you dear !

Mother- Bear. Take your little cup, Baby Bear!

Baby Bear. Thank you, Mummy… But I can’t drink it! It is too hot.

Father Bear . Then let`s go for a walk white the milk is getting cool.

Three Bears go out of the room.

A little Girl comes in and looks around.

Story- teller . Three bears are playing in the forest . They are happy and glad. But who is it? Look!

Little Girl. Who lives in this house, I wonder? (Looks at the table.) I am hungry. (Sits

down at the table and tastes the milk.) Oh, this milk is too hot for me !... Oh, thise milk is too cold for me!... Thise milk is just right for me. There is a distant sound of the three Bears` steps. Frightened, the Little Girl hides.

Story- teller. Three bears are going home. They want to drink their milk.

The three Bears enter the room and take their places at the table.

Father Bear . My cup is not full !

Mother- Bear. My cup is not full either!

Baby Bear. And my cup is empty! (they look around ) And who is this? A little girl!

Father Bear . Let us catch her!

Mother- Bear. Let us eat her!

Baby Bear. Yes, yes, let us eat her!

Little Girl. No, you won’t ! (runs away)

The Bears try to catch her, but trip over each other and fall down.

Mother- Bear. It’s your fault, Father! You fell, and I fell too!

Baby Bear. I fell because you fell!

All together. And a litlle girl has run away! Oh,Oh,Oh!

Story- teller. The bears are sad. They didn’t have enough breakfast today.

Teacher. Look! There are a lot of different pictures here!

(Вчитель дістає малюнки з продуктами харчування)

Let’s play a game! Make up sentences with there words. ( учні 4 класу складають речення.)

Teacher. Do you like riddles? Guess!

(Коли учень називає правильну відповідь, вчитель показує відповідний малюнок- відповідь та нагороджує призом.)
