WorKshoPsYou can attend one workshop elective from a choice of

around 25 on a variety of topics, including a workshop

stream just for teens called Grace Girls. For details of

each workshop, visit www.graceconference.org.au.

Spaces in workshops are filled in order of registration, so

Chris trained as a primary school teacher, not

knowing what opportunities for the gospel it

provided. When the suggestion of learning to preach

was given, Chris decided to study at SMBC to ground

her theology and develop her pastoral skills.

Now, Chris has the privilege of speaking at women’s

events, and each week, opening the Bible with

children. She loves her grandchildren on her lap as

she reads to them and a good cup of tea is always

refreshing.
