L&T is implementing construction of metro and monorail systems and augmenting capabilities as urban mass rail transit systems enters the future

domains.

Structures developed by Infra IC for the metro range from elevated rail corridors, monorails, under ground

metro rail corridors. State-of-the-art facility and machinery have been installed and used for the

construction of underground railway tunnels.

L&T has contributed significantly to the successful implementation of Phase 1 and Phase 2 of Delhi

Metro. A prestigious project currently underway is the construction of India’s first monorail transit system in Mumbai. L&T is the developer for the entire metro network for the city of Hyderabad,
