CAMINO OF ST. JAMES
The 9th Annual Camino of Saint James 8k/5k & Fun Runs is
scheduled for August 12th starting at 8 a.m. The course
starts at St. James Church and runs north on city streets,
continues along the beautiful Hayhoe Riverwalk, and
then returns to St. James. Following the race is a delicious
pancake breakfast. For race information and signup on
our website www.stjamesmason.org.
It is time again to call on those who made our previous run/walks so
successful...the VOLUNTEERS! Please consider volunteering again for this
year's event. We understand the important role volunteers play in ensuring
a successful event! Please sign-up after Masses if you can help out again
this year. If you are not interested in volunteering this year, consider
running or walking the event, or just come out and cheer on those
participating! We would love to line the course with friendly faces!
SHOE DRIVE
Sts C & C is collecting gently worn, used and new
shoes to raise money for “Making Strides against
Breast Cancer”. All you have to do is clean out your
closet of shoes you no longer wear, that are still in good condition, even
shoes for sports and cleats. You can drop off in the Parish Hall of the
Church or contact me. ~Thanks so much! Eileen Hunter 734-652-8423
PREGNANCY SERVICES COLLECTION
We will be collecting baby items for the next 4 weeks at Sts C & C! They
always need diapers, wipes, crib sheets, pac-n-plays, & infant car seats.
THANK YOU!
Thank you for supporting Child and Family
Charities! Your gift of $1,100 through your
Christian Service tithe in April has helped to
ensure that children, youth and families are
receiving the support they need for a better
life. Your help has made it possible for our
agency to continue to provide 20 crucial
programs and services for over 7,000 of our
community’s most vulnerable members—
abused, neglected and at-risk children and
youth. Because of your support, these children
and youth experience compassion-
ate and loving care as they recover,
heal and begin a brighter future with
hope.
~Child and Family Charities

Programming classes in the Fall. I will make sure
I do my best at college. Thank you again!
