Under the cross in or Courtyard, you’ll see a small memorial plaque for Charlotte Moorhead. Charlotte passed away from leukaemia when she was in Year 3. Should she have lived as she deserved to, Charlotte would have turned 30 over the holidays.

Cancer has caused horrible grief in the lives of too many people, and we are compelled to do something about it. Usually at this time, we fund-raise for the Parish’s Relay for Life Team. This year we will do something a little different. Sienna McGarry is 10 years of age. She is a student at St Mary’s and she has been diagnosed with leukaemia. We need to help Sienna and her family.

This coming Friday 26th July, we are inviting all students to wear one item of yellow with their school uniform to show their support for Sienna and her family. We are asking that children bring a gold coin donation on the day, and we would welcome any additional donations families would like to make for Sienna and her family. These donations could simply be placed in an envelope and sent in to the Office with your child.

Funds raised from our Friday Sizzle will also be added to these funds and given to the family. This is a real chance to help one little girl and her

family fight cancer. We’d love your support.
