2 KQ: What should be done to help those living in the poorest conditions?Core Task:You are a newspaper reporter, shocked at the living conditions of poor people in London. Write a newspaper article reporting what you have found. Your story should be at least 200 words long, it is sympathetic towards the poor and angry about how people live. In your article make recommendations on their lives could be improved? (1 hour)

3 KQ: What happened as a result of poor public Health? Core Task:Create a 10 point fact file on the Cholera Epidemic of 1858 (sometimes referred to as “The Great Stink”). In your fact file include

The dates of the epidemic. What caused cholera? How many deaths resulted from cholera? What action and advice was offered by the government? (1 hour)
