� ABB University use the Learning Management System (LMS) promoted by Trainingspartner

� A Learning Management System (LMS) is a software application that manages, facilitates and controls the processes needed for delivering enterprise learning”

• Training Partner 2005 is the primary ‘back office’ tool for Learning Center Administrators and Managers in ABB University

• Training Partner 2005 Online allows self-service and instructor access from a Web browser

• Student self-registration, evaluations, scheduling, and reporting

• Supports multiple languages

• Training Partner 2005 can Manage Training Events/Data and Deliver/Track eLearning Courses

• SQL-based database, client-server technology

• Security enabled to assign access to various user groups

How to get access to the PP-PS-Portal

Go to this site http://www100.abb.com/tpOnline/NET/HomeHigh5.aspxand login in one of the three ways:

� You have already an account in High5:We migrate all accounts from High5 in TrainingsPartner, so you may login using your previous High5 user name and password.

� You have and access in High5 and also TrainingsPartner before the migration:We migrate all information from High5 under your TrainingsPartner account, so you may login using your current TrainingsPartner user name and password.

� It is the first time you want to use an e-learning module:Register yourself by clicking the ”register‘ link.

Create a new Account

� Fill in the registration form. In the user type field kindly choose ”ABB personnel‘ and in the e-mail address field kindly enter your ABB e-mail address in order to be able to see the courses allowed for ABB personnel.

� The registration will be successfully carried out if only one person with the same ABB e-mail address exists in the system. You will then receive an automatic e-mail from TP Support including your user name and password.

� Login to the system with the user name and password which you have just received.

Overview start page

A list of unfinished personal e-

learning courses will be shown. Each course is

opened by clicking the date of the course.

Number of units tells how many modules are

included in each course. For

example course “S942 – HVDC

Basic EN”includes 2 modules

The Course Catalog is an

overview about all available

course

In MY Learning you will find all useful things:

� Training History: the e-learning courses can be reviewed after completion.

� Change Information: your password and other personal data can be changed or corrected

� Reports (Certificates)

At the moment the most of the courses are

under a review

process to increase the quality and the actuality


General information about the course

To start the course Click the "Enroll To This Online Event"

link.

Your enrollmentshould be

automatically confirmed

allowing you to take the course

immediately.

BE AWARE:

For course which are

not ready yet you can

enroll the course also.

We will inform you when the course is available.


Start of the training session / assessment

� In our example the course has two modules:

� Course – trainings material

� Assessment – examination

� A course module is opened by clicking the name of the unit.

You can review the

course module every

time how often you

want.

� To start the assessment you have to click on the assessment

� A Popup-window opens

� After answering all questions press the button “Submit all”

� After finishing the assessment the result will be reported to TrainingsPartner

The Certificate 1

� To create the certificates you have the open the View “My Learning /Reports”

� For each BU you will find one folder for the reports

BE AWARE:

The reports will be

availabe mid of March

You will find in each

folder one report


Certificate 2

� A Popup window open

� You can select the time period as a filter for your certificates

� Click on the button “OK”

� Your Certificates will be created as a PDF-document for Printing and Saving
