1.1 Background

On 19 February 2013, a cordless impact wrench is missing from the T05

Station. From the investigation, it was found that one of our former

employees has taken it before he resigned from the company. After

discussing with our superior, Mr. Azhar Sulaiman, we were requested to

purchase a new cordless impact wrench. We have conducted a few

surveys through our suppliers in getting the best price quotation and the

best product. We managed to find two price quotations to be compared.

1.2 Purpose

The purpose of the project is to find the best new cordless impact wrench

in terms of price and quality and submit the report to the management to

decide which new cordless impact wrench should be bought.

1.3 Method of Investigation

The survey is being done by getting price quotations from our common

suppliers through their website, www.my toolstore.com.

2.0. FINDINGS

It was found that:

2.1 The price from Bosch Malaysia is cheaper than the price from Milwaukee

Company.

2.2 The Bosch Company provides warranty for their cordless impact wrench

while no warranty is provided from Milwaukee Company.

2.3 The weight of cordless impact wrench from Bosch Company is lighter

compare to the cordless from Milwaukee Company.

3.0. CONCLUSION

It can be concluded that :

3.1 The price from Bosch Malaysia is cheaper than the price from Milwaukee

Company because the company is already establish and has one of the

biggest share in the business.

3.2 The Bosch Company provides warranty for their cordless impact wrench

while no warranty is provided from Milwaukee Company because the

Bosch Company has the best customer service.

3.3 The weight of cordless impact wrench from Bosch Company is lighter

compare to the cordless from Milwaukee Company because Bosch wants

to make sure that the customer can carry the cordless impact wrench

easily.

4.0. RECOMMENDATION

It is suggested that:

4.1 The management should buy the product from the Bosch Company

because the price is cheaper and the company is already established.

4.2 Since the product from Bosch Company has a warranty, it would be better

to buy the cordless impact wrench from the company.

4.3 The cordless impact wrench from Bosch Company is easier to be carried

out, so will enable our workers to carry it and do their job easily. It would

be best to but the product from the Bosch Company.
