Comparison of past scenarios
• Library scenario simplest, one step printing
• POTENTIAL for funds remain in XAS/Equitrac
• Key requirement from students – pay per job
• Release mechanism vary
• None or touch screen release
• Nexus credential release
• WatCard swiping release
• Significant shift of printing to pay per job printing

FALL 2015 PRINTING COMPARISON
Client Feedback
• Retail Services (RS) – uPrint training is available and we committed to ensuring everyone using uPrint can do their job and support the students with this system
• Collaboration – IST, AHS, & Library have worked very closely with the uPrint team, and shared feedback, concerns, issues, and ideas for future development with the team and other onboard faculties
Client Feedback
• Library – As students became familiar with new system the number of requests for help diminished. Better instructions would help.
• Library – The initial technical issues with original install caused a great deal of problems (e.g. automatically saving uPrint credentials)
• Hopefully new version and appropriate modifications have helped
Student Feedback
• Q1 – Please rate the following based on your
experience with uPrint services
a) Ease of Use – 3.77 (average out of 5)
b) Convenience of Locations – 4.03 (out of 5)
c) Overall Experience – 3.80 (out of 5)
• Negative comments
• Can’t connect from home
• More instructions required
Observations
•Library has it’s own Print server to help move the significant load of output in library from the remainder of campus print server.
•Upgrade to newest version (2 full-version upgrade) took under 1 hour, without issues and future upgrades could be done between terms
