“Ambassador of Urban Youth Ministry”

Driven by passion and an unyielding desire to revolutionize traditional techniques for reaching this generation, DeVale Simmons boldly proclaims, “I will do whatever it takes to reach them!”

DeVale Simmons is the CEO of THE PLATFORM INC. – a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization for inner city teens that focuses on education, entrepreneurship, economic, workforce and leadership development. He has served full-time in local youth ministry for over a decade and continues to bring a fresh and relevant approach to effective and healthy purpose-driven youth organizations. He seeks to expose middle and high school students to entrepreneurship opportunities and to serve as the “Platform” for them to become future leaders and business owners.

“Graduate Recognition Sunday” was celebrated on June 12th .

In addition to the presentation of our 2016 graduates,

the church along with the Work Area on Christian Education also

recognized ALL OF OUR CHILDREN/YOUTH for their successful

completion of another school year.

DeVale has authored two books and is presently working on his third publication. Both books were available at the conclusion of the worship service. They are:
