I. DOCUMENTS Managing Documents

1. View existing and uploaded documents (resume, cover letter, etc.) by clicking on the “documents” link in the

top navigation bar. 2. View documents approved by the Career Services Office in the “Approved Documents” tab. 3. View documents waiting to be approved by the Career Services Office in the “Pending Documents” tab.

ROSCOE requires approval of the first resume uploaded to your account. All subsequent documents should upload automatically. To prevent an unnecessary delay, be sure to upload the newest version of your resume before deleting the previous version. If the previous version us deleted first, the new resume will require approval again.

4. The title of your uploaded documents. 5. The type of document. Each document must be specified as the correct type of document when being

uploaded. If your writing sample is uploaded as a “resume” or “other document” it will not attach to online applications properly.

6. Preview the document or a .pdf of the document. 7. Click “Delete” to remove the document from your account. This cannot be undone, so click wisely. 8. Click “Add New” to upload a new document.

I. JOB POSTINGS Searching for Jobs

1. View job postings by clicking “jobs” in the top navigation bar. 2. View favorite job postings by clicking the “Favorites” tab. 3. Perform in-depth searches of all available job postings under the “Advanced Search” tab.

Note: Many employers do not use great detail in their employer profiles or job postings. Limiting yourself to the results of a detailed search could also limit your employment opportunities.

4. Manage repetitive searches under the “Search Agents” tab. Searches may be configured and saved from the “Advanced Search” tab.

5. Track applications you’ve submitted by clicking the “Applications” tab. 6. Sort the job list by practice area or position type by using the drop down menus.

Note: Many employers do not use these details, so you may miss out on opportunities if you are too specific. 7. Find a specific job by inputting details in the “Keywords” text box. 8. Review position details by clicking the link under “Job Title.” 9. Mark a job as a “favorite” by clicking on the “Add Favorite” option. These jobs can be viewed under the

“Favorites” tab.
