WHY CHOOSE SHOWER GRATES?

Initial outlay of a shower grate may be dearer, but factoring in the substantial savings on labour for bedding, tiling, and grouting - the shower grate soon becomes the more economical option.

Styling is another reason more and more people are using shower grates. They offer that much sought after clean, modern, minimalist look and even come in a choice of polished stainless steel or a matte black finish.

Shower grates also reduce the chance of water leakage due to a substantially reduced number of grout lines when using large tiles, in turn reducing the opportunity for water leaks and house damage. The reduced number of grout lines also allow for easier cleaning of your bathroom in the long run.

Studio RD Studio Channel Drains are versatile, modern floor grates suited perfectly to all wet area applications such as bathrooms, showers, ensuites, pool areas, balconies and all outdoor landscaping areas. Australian designed and made in premium 316 marine-grade stainless, all of our drains are backed by a 10 year product warranty.

The ‘Heelguard’ linear wedge wire design prevents high heels from catching in the grate, making it a safer choice for outdoor applications, or a striking indoor feature. The ‘Tile Insert’ drain accommodates all floor tiles including ceramic tiles, natural stone, pavers, glass and glass mosaics of any thickness to create a seamlessly integrated drain.

Both designs comes as standard in stainless steel or matte black with custom colour options available on request.

FINISH OPTIONS

All drains must be installed by a licenced builder or plumber to prevent voiding the warranty. A tungsten carbide cutter for 43mm or 65mm outlets can be purchased separately.* Custom orders are quoted individually and incur a 5-7 business day waiting time.
