HOW DO STUDENTS CHOOSE A CAMPUS OF STUDY?Deakin University has four campuses:
The Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus is located
15 minutes from Australia’s surf coast, in a town of 220 000 yet only an hour by train from Melbourne. The campus has 4 500 students, a great size to maintain the personal feel, with a comprehensive range of courses.
The Geelong Waterfront Campus is located on
the foreshore of Corio Bay in the central business district of Geelong. Originally built in 1893, the buildings have been extensively renovated to create a modern and impressive campus. More than 1200 students are based at the campus which offers courses in Architecture, Construction Management, Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy and Business.
The Warrnambool Campus has just 1 000
students in a town of 30 000 on the coast, three hours from Melbourne by train or car. If Marine Sciences or any water-based study is your thing then this is the place for you, however this campus also offers a full range of Arts, Sciences, Education and Business courses.
The Melbourne Burwood Campus is
located in Melbourne’s green, eastern suburbs, 45 minutes by tram to the city. On route, the tram passes through some great urban villages. If you are into the Contemporary Arts (Dance, Drama, Photography, Film, and Visual Arts) then this is a great place for you. This campus also offers a full range of courses, in Arts, Sciences, Health, Business and Education.
