Local organisers:Our teachers are only one facet of the Home LanguageInternational service to our students. Every area is supervisedby a resident Local Organiser whose job it is to monitor theprogress of each student and to make sure his experiencewith us is both happy and successful.

A phone call to our Local Organiser brings an immediateresponse and expert help and advice is given readily for eventhe smallest problem. HOME LANGUAGE INTERNATIONAL

A unique opportunityfor a full immersion experience,living with and being taught byyour own private teacher. HomeLanguage International Teachingis completely different from anyother language experience.You live and study in your teacher’shouse so there is no travelling toand from school every day.

You will not be led page by pagethrough a text-book but begiven an experience in living thelanguage you are studying. Youwill learn it as you learn yourown language - and at your ownspeed. Your teacher is concernedonly with your difficulties andproblems and not those of otherstudents because you will be theonly student (unless you preferour two student formula).

Home Language Internationallessons are suitable for all ages.There is no longer any need for the maturestudent to feel shy or nervous in a large classof differing ages and abilities. The unwillingstudent cannot hide at the back of the classor miss lessons because he lives and studiesin his teacher's home. Adolescents from asheltered background can easily besupervised by the teacher according to theirparents' wishes and the same applies to evenvery young children.

You can choose 15, 20 or 25 hours teachingper week and stay as many weeks as you like.

Mealtime conversation, visits, television andsocial contacts are all in the language youare studying and with people of that country.Living with your teacher means that you willbe guided and corrected not only during thelessons but at all times when the teacher andstudent are together. You cannot use yourown language because you have no contactwith other students from your country.

You can choose the dates which suit you aswe operate all the year round. There is no "peak period"when you will be surrounded by other students becausethere is never more than one student living with thesame teacher (unless you prefer our two student formula).
