• Enrollment in BCPS District schools, however, is the lowest is has been in the entire span of 2001 to 2018.

• Charter school enrollment has increased in this time from 3.3% to 17.0% of total enrollment.

• Charter school impact is most significant at the elementary and middle school levels and in the southern and north-central areas of the county, with schools in SW Broward, highest at Glades Middle with over 49% of boundary students attending charter schools.
